Bug out bag. This is part of my system. To see the full system check out my other survival videos and kits.

My Bug Out Bag is always being modified and improved. The kit in this video does not reflect my current setup. Although, the kit in this vid is very good and would definatly be suitable for a disasterous situation. This video should be helpful giving you ideas for your kit.

    Good kit, but I …
Good kit, but I it’s not really ’survival’ kit as such it’s more what you would take on a four day bushcraft / wilderness trip, survival kit is the bare minimum, as I understand. Good all the same, lucky you can have guns over there, not for killing over humans, obviously, that’s why guns are bad, but for hunting etc..

how many total calories do you pack in your food bag? what % from fat? you said you packed high protein was there a specific reason?

    great vid, 5 stars !!

  23. OutPostandEcho Says:

    have you looked …
have you looked into the platypus collapsible bladders, or maybe an MSR dromedary ? to save space and weight?
where do you plan to get your water? do you have a quality filter?

what does the whole pack weigh, did i miss that ? do you have any kind of bivy / shelter / real sleeping bag ?
agree with others, scented items should be avoided at all costs if you have bears:

based on the bug net i assume you live bellow 40 degrees, so bears are not a problem.

    Looking at that EDC …
Looking at that EDC bag and seeing that you have a dog you should look into these bags they have that your dog can wear and they are like mini dog packs. They are about as big as your EDC bag so you could put everything into one, have your dog wear it and take some of the load off of you. I have one for my dog, if I were to ever bail out she is going to have to carry her own weight :D
