Can anyone remember when they were told to “say ahhh” quite the same as this endearing photo?

“Let me check your throat for signs of infection” I can imagine she was told.  Saying ahh, for this little girl, is all about getting the mouth open as wide as possible.

While first aid is about being prepared, sometimes all we need is a quick check of the tongue and tonsils.  Are they red and inflamed?  Gargling with salt water can help reduce inflammation.

Nothing can stop the faces being made, though, when told to say ahhhh!
