I fully understand if you think that mint tea is not a first aid topic. Really. I do.
First aid also incorporates sleep remedies. It is in sleep that a person’s body rejuvenates, and studies have shown that a good night’s sleep enables a person to remain healthy, even into old age.
Also, as a first aid measure, in trauma situations, a cuppa is just what soothes and calms. A hot drink can help to take one’s mind off their situation, and allows the body to calm down, returning the heart beat and other vital signs back to normal.
